Dr Karl Rodins is the only doctor in Queensland who holds a dual qualification in Anatomical Pathology & Dermatology. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia & the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Experience
After graduating from Medical School at Otago University in Dunedin, Dr Rodins has gained vast experience in General Medicine and Surgery.
During his Anatomical Pathology Training in Australia and New Zealand, he developed a high level of expertise in all areas but in particularly Dermatopathology. His thirst for knowledge in Skin Disease, led Dr Rodins to study in Dermatology.
Dr Rodins worked in clinical dermatology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology and the Mater Hospital and graduated as a qualified Dermatologists in 2013.

- Pyogenic granuloma, port wine stain and pregnancy

- Hybrid follicular cyst (pilomatrical and infundibular) arising within a sebaceous naevus

- Early Melanoma with Halo Eczema (Meyerson’s phenomenon)
