Experience
Dr Patel graduated from Charles University Prague, achieving summa cum laude, in 2004 before undertaking surgery training in Sheffield, England. Having developed an interest in pathology, she completed specialist training in Glasgow, Scotland, and was awarded her fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists in 2014.
After this, she worked as a general pathologist in Fife, Scotland for five years before taking the opportunity to emigrate to Australia and work in the private sector, specialising in gynaepathology, cytopathology and dermatopathology.
