Mitchell Wan, InfinityPATH Director
“I want to take this opportunity to share our story, as it is fundamental to who we are and where we are going.”
My vision for InfinityPATH has always been very clear. Having worked with major pathology companies for many years, I have an intimate understanding of the corporate approach.
I started InfinityPATH to provide an alternative to the corporate model and to bring ‘patient care’ back as the focus, of why pathology companies exist. It is a focus that continues to be the backbone of this business and I am very proud to say it is a focus that has led to our growth.
“Brick by brick. Day by day. Year by year. We are changing the landscape of Surgical Pathology.”
We have come so far since our humble beginnings in 2011. Starting out with just 3 personnel, we are now a strong team of 75!
Proudly, we are pathology partners to a large number of General Practitioners & Specialists throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia.
“We remain a non-corporate, fiercely independent Surgical Pathology Laboratory.”
It has been an amazing and exhilarating journey and I am incredibly excited about what may lay ahead for our responsive and dynamic business.
Our journey began in 2011. When I think back on the day that I made the choice to start a Pathology Laboratory, I have to admit, I am amazed. It was a big risk! It is an expensive business to build because of the cost of the latest technologies and the landscape is hugely competitive with well-established corporates with deep pockets. However, I have always been someone who loves a good challenge. I have never looked back.
One year after starting the business, we brought on our first client! It was a great feeling. It confirmed to me that we were moving in the right direction. The year 2012, was an important year for us. It was really the start of our growth.
With our combined concerted efforts to introduce doctors to the InfinityPATH approach, we were starting to see a quite significant increase in demand. Due to this growth, we needed to start recruiting pathologists.
To all our colleagues that put the ‘care’ back into Pathology, you are the true assets of the business. Combined, we are enviously strong.
To all our existing clients, thank you for being part of this journey.
To all potential clients, we extend this invitation to get to know us better and to experience the passion that we have, for providing an exceptional standard of pathology services to clinicians.
Last but not least, my heartfelt and humble thanks to my family, for bearing with me through times that were probably challenging for you all.
